"Inspired by the Rogue" is planned in conjunction with the JCLI Community Reads program, which promotes communities coming together to read the same book, providing a platform for discussion. Our 2012 Community Reads selection is “Rogue River Feud” by Zane Grey. Artists of all ages and skill levels are invited to submit works of art for a community art exhibit "Inspired by the Rogue" taking place at all four branches of Josephine Community Libraries in Grants Pass, Cave Junction, Williams, and Wolf Creek.
Two-dimensional and three-dimensional art can be submitted June 12 to June 16, and will be on display at branch locations from June 19 to September 29 during regular library hours. An artist reception is scheduled during the First Friday Art Night on July 6 from 6-9 pm at the Grants Pass library. Click to see the artist submission requirements and registration form on the Josephine Community Libraries website. Art exhibit entries are limited to one per artist, with entry forms available at each of the branch locations and online.
